After a couple of years of sampling we had over 100 floppy disks to choose from and the library has turned out to become one of our best selling and most well received libraries in our collection. Many of our customers from the Hip Hop and Techno community's have used the sounds on countless numbers of classic recordings throughout the last twenty years. We still own the original machine from 1987 and have also added a 'black' version that was part of the re-release in the early 90's. Much care was taken to preserve the original sound of the SP when sampling the files and assembling the drum kits. The results are as close as you get to the real thing. All WAV file drum kits are well organized for easy key mapping into your hardware or software sampler. There are usually between 24 and 32 samples included in each drum kit.
